While synthetic Opal stones are made in a lab, they are chemically very similar to natural Opals. Synthetic Opals are grown in a lab for about a year using approximately 80% Silica (what natural opals are composed of) and 20% Resin, until a beautiful opal stone is formed.

In order to be more sustainable and save on waste, all Indie and Harper orders are packaged in ONE 100% recycled box and ONE 100% organic and sustainable cotton bag.

However, if you wish to gift any of your Indie and Harper products, please let us know (in the notes section in your shopping cart) and we will box them separately.
